Wenhao Sun is a professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of
Michigan, where he leads a research group focused on computational materials design.
He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology and has published numerous papers on the design and discovery
of new materials for energy storage and conversion, including lithium-ion batteries. Sun’s
research has the potential to revolutionize the field of materials science and enable the
development of more efficient and sustainable technologies. He is widely recognized for
his contributions to the field and has received several prestigious awards for his work,
including the National Science Foundation CAREER Award.
